Principal
Chris Freisen is the Principal of the Beachmont Veterans Memorial School. He has spent the past fifteen plus years working as a school administrator, educational consultant, special education teacher, and coach in various educational settings. Chris spent eight years working as a special education teacher in the Summit Public School in Summit, NJ. He also coached both basketball and lacrosse during his tenure in Summit. He then spent three years working for IDE Corp.(Innovative Designs for Education) as an Instructional Strategies Specialist and the Coordinator of Online Learning. At IDE, he worked with school districts, primarily in the greater New York City area, providing a variety of professional development opportunities that challenged educators to create student-centered learning environments in their classrooms. Chris then became the Dean of the Self-Contained Program at Excel Academy in East Boston, where he led a special education program that functioned as a “school within a school.” From 2018-2021, Chris was an Assistant Principal at Revere High School. He holds a B.A. in Special Education from Miami University in Oxford, OH and a M.A. in Educational Leadership from Kean University in Union, NJ. Chris is excited to work with the students, families, and staff at Beachmont Elementary!

Assistant Principal
Janelle Kruszewski is the Assistant Principal of the Beachmont Veterans Memorial School.I am proud to work in the community in which I grew up. After graduating from Revere High School, I attended Lesley University, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Education, and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum Instruction in Literacy. I also hold a CAGS in Administration from Salem State University. I have worked in the Revere Public Schools as a teacher in the 1st and 4th grade, as a math interventionist, as well as a math coach and administrator. This is my 18th year in Revere. My goal is to ensure that the Beachmont is a fun, safe place where each student has the opportunity to learn, to grow, and to succeed.
